that board will have 0 features for gaming, it will be a pure OC board for benchmarking.

The UD9 was a pet project just like the board above, all i can say is that your 990x wont work with the board above. nothing else i can say about this subject as i am under NDA already.

Oh thats strange, it sure is a X58 board by the looks of it. I know you cant go into details by why on Earth would the 990x not work on it.

I can see why Gigabyte killed off the UD9. The G.1Assassin looks pretty sweet. Hopefully it doesn't take forever to get released.

Please describe "features for gaming" - I never knew these were optional extras for a mobo lol. If it runs Windows, it can be used for gaming

i can't go furthur but lets say everything that people disable to take load off cpu like ICs for features will not be there. Yes but you have no idea what the next socket will look like.
