Has she considered in-ear canalphones? That'll isolate the best and it'll still sound good + much more protable.

I would highly recommend the Aiaiai TMA-1 Headphones. They eliminate almost all background noise, and they are very well rounded.

Denon AH-D2000 or Beyerdynamic DT770's. Bass monsters in their own way.

^ Agree. Lower Impedance 880s would probably be the best for on the go listening. Also consider Ultrasone HFI-780s, I have some- good bass & decent isolation.

If she considers IEMs (as they tend to have better bass and isolation than cans given that they seal off the ear canal so well, I've heard the Monster Turbines are pretty good.

Try the sennheiser HD-25 || (this is meant for portability, at home I'd advice against)

I have that too, but it isn't exactly a basshead can. Its overall sound signature is more of a Sennheiser midrange smoothness coupled with Grado's upfront and aggressive treble. Bass is very articulate and defined, but not as deep as that of, say a DT770. But still pretty good, and the small profile makes it great as a portable headphone.
