I need a new CPU pretty bad, but then I also need a new motherboard if I'm going to plan on OCing anything more powerful than it.

The only thing that WCing will really get you at this point is a little bit more head room on OCing (which might be 100-200mhz on your CPU until you hit a wall) and a silent build which you might want. Not sure if it is really worth the money though. It looks like you have a pretty nice 950 there.

If you do get the Sunbeam controller be warned that the LEDs are REALLY bright. I ended up using wirecutters to snip them all off of mine because it's almost painful to look at when they're turned to max.
