No, that's not the same power supply. I don't remember seeing a logo on it, just that it had a small label that said 230w on it.

Edit:

He's going to buy a Cooler master Elite Power 400w

Thoughts on the power supply?
Its a better unit than what he has, and will run at its rated power. That specific CoolerMaster PSU isnt the best unit do to poor ripple and noise suppression. I would recommend looking for an Antec, Seasonic, or Corsair PSU. If none can be found, the CoolerMaster will do the job, its just not the best PSU to be had for that amount of money.

Here is a review of the unit http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/artic...-Review/975/10

Yea, I recommended a Corsair CX430, but he didn't want to pay the extra amount for it. Turns out that his brother found a 500w and bought it, but I'm not too sure about all the specs.

Thanks for the review, I actually looked at the same review for the 460w model and it turns out that the 460w and 400w model are the same.

Yea, I didn't know that until just now. =P Thanks for the information.
Maybe if he decides to overclock, it will fix that because my friend has an E5200 with a 4870 and he runs LoL at 60 constant.

Yea, I looked at those, but can't find them at the local store and he already bought a 500w (not sure what brand). So we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the help!
