if i were you, i would try to price it

1)whole setup w/ 3 monitor (which u already did)
2)whole setup w/ 1 monitor (which u already did)
3)whole setup w/o monitor
4)whole setup w/o monitor, w/o video card.

by the time it goes down to option 4, price will go down enough to attract a lot more people, still yet you can still sell your gtx 580 sc with no problem. those are the hottest cards for the time being anyways and if you price it right, someone will grab it in a heart beat.

also mentioning your location helps sometimes...

where's my +rep? GLWS sick setup
your rep is on it's way, thanks for the advice! i actually thought about pricing the computer without a monitor before i read your post, but i hadn't thought about a price without the gpu's. i will add a price for that as well and my location.

unfortunately, i won't be selling anything separate besides maybe the monitors just yet. if you really are interested, send me a pm and i might work something out with you in a couple weeks.

i knew i was going to get grief for this, i just wasn't sure when lol. i do attend a monthly lan, but i might be attending them with more frequency very soon.

Oh and whole systems on here seem to take forever to sell. Parting out usually is the best way to go on here, but craigslist you can make a killing. Plus people know the alienware branding.
i really don't think the alienware branding will be a negative in this instance given the parts list. really, the only thing alienware is the case, keyboard, and monitors (and the monitors are ftw).

i am really in no big hurry to sell this right away. i will consider parting the system out if i get absolutely no interest in a few weeks or longer.

well not trying to give grief, just saying that imo its a bit excessive the desktop is so powerful....i dont know how you can give up that power for some portability, just beyond me completely.
