well maybe i will go with the UD5 and 2500k, that way if i get suckered into a new rig in a year when 2011 drops i will have a 150 less to throw away

Probably a good call. I think you have to have 3+ graphics cards to really benefit from the extra money you spend on the UD7.

Hopefully microcenter will have a good batch of 2500k's. Even if I'm only able to get to 4.8 that will be a huge jump from the 4.0 I'm usually running on my q9550.
