Blue screen on OCCT.

Thread Starter
About 10-15 minute into OCCT and it keeps going to blue screen even though there are no errors and around 90 degrees or lower. The CPU is stable at 11 hours of prime95 when I stopped it. I have it at a small OC at 700 and 1700 and have tried voltage settings at every interval up to the max. Any clue on why this keeps happening? Thank you.

On my EVGA GTX 465's I found that different bios's had very different results. Everything from barely being able to OC to Overclocking Extremely well. Most of the issue's were Vram related.

If You feel like trying a new bios out here is the one that works best with "My" EVGA GTX 465 SC unlocks (now 470's).. No clocks or voltages are changed except for the Max Voltage that you can change in like Afterburner etc.

Is this a bios I would have to flash to the card the same way I unlocked it or just download and apply through windows?

Yeah it's a GTX 470 bios, and You would have to flash it to your GPU the same way you unlocked your card using NVflash.

It could help and solve the issue or maybe it won't do anything different but it's worth a shot

From what read the apc index mismatch is due to a faulty driver of some kind. I am guessing that the last drivers that you installed were new Graphic drivers so I would recommend uninstalling your Graphic Drivers and reinstall using either the same ones or try different ones.

When You installed the GPU drivers You have now did You install the HD Audio drivers that come with the Nvidia drivers? If so Try uninstalling the Nvidia HD Audio drivers and see if it still happens.

I have run into some issue's in the past with the Nvidia Audio drivers so now I never install them.

Im not positive but i think I fixed it. I think the problem was setting the shutdown temp to 60 degrees. I thought it was for the CPU only but after looking at the temps I think it was going off of the system temp. After removing the battery and the setting changing itself back to disabled I ran over a half hour of OCCT having one error, just wanted to see if it would shut down, and it didnt. Only had time to do the one test but Im gonna keep doing more till I see if its fixed. Ill post back. Thanks for all the help.
