Nice voltage for that OC DB006, I am testing(small ffts) right now 2500k 4.5Ghz@1.28V, hope it will be stable.

By the way, how many hours of testing on that voltage DB006?

Hopefully someone can answer this one here.

Does anyone know why when I manually set my voltages at idle my voltage is higher than under load? It goes to exactly what I set under load 1.38v for a 4.6 OC but at idle it sits around 1.39-1.4...this doesn't exactly seem right?

I've tried it on auto and Ultra High with the same results....

I also seem to keep having problems with random freezing. It runs prime95 fine had it on for 5 hours small fft with no crashing...I have only gotten one BSOD which it didn't do a memory dump it just sat stuck on the BSOD...

I've reset to default in the mobo and tried running it with stock clocks and underclocked my RAM and regardless of how I have it setup it will eventually freeze normally at idle or right after a load was taken off.
Under load my CPU temps are all below 70c most stay in the low 60's 1 of the cores runs around 68-69.

not exactly sure what all I might have going on here sometimes it will run 20 min before it freezes and sometimes 5+ hours it has never frozen during a prime run though, this is my first intel setup I normally do AMD

Thanks DB006.

So, as far as I understand Current CPU I/O Voltage is CCIO and Current SA Voltage is VCCSA on Asus boards?

would like to add that i'm running my pll without issues at 1.55V prime 95 stable. you have to play around with it, 1.76v might be good for some but for me was the lowest i could get it at (1.50v my system will not boot)

Hm, I just noticed that even when my PC is idle(running at 1600Mhz), the core voltage stays the same - BIOS settings 1.3V, when idle, CPU-Z 1.56.2 reporting core voltage 1.288-1.296, any way to "fix" this, so the voltage will drop when idle?

Edit: nevermind, voltage drop only on auto voltage core.
