Turn on the power saving states.

When I game at 5GHz my voltage hovers between 1.43 and 1.5, when I fold though it bumps up to 1.512 sometimes

Mine will idle around 1.0v, 0.9v

I really hope this is supposed to be 1.37v.

EDIT: Oh wait lol, PLL voltage. I was thinking core voltage for some reason.

I dropped my PLL Voltage to 1.55 and was able to reduce my CPU voltage to 1.26 for a 4.5ghz OC... 10 hours of prime 95 small ffts stable, but my max temp on one core still hit 67C (same as before the adjustment).

I know this is plenty safe, but I was doing the same thing at Auto PLL Voltage and 1.275v on the CPU.... I was hoping temps would have come down at least slightly.

Comments like this really annoy me because they help no one and accomplish nothing.

The d-14 is pretty new, so what would have been the better option the Megahalem? vs the h50 they trade blows only a C or two between them.

Do you feel better cause your d-14 is better? because for a little more there is the rasa kit, there is always a step up I'm just trying to understand what the hate is about.

from what i have read PLL voltage does not make any different in overclocking after many testing. It is true that higher PLL voltage (1.89 or above) cause instability so i would advise to try the lowest your mobo can boot to windows.

i tried to play with the PLL VOLTAGE and the lowest i can go is 1.55v
