The games I play on my Acer Aspire One:

Team Fortress Classic: Great Frame rates
League of Legends: Good Frame rates
Age of Empires II The Conquerors: Great Frame rates
Counterstrike 1.6: Great Frame rates
Counterstrike Source: Runs ok at Directx7, with Caseys cfg, & maps with no textures.
Deathmatch Classic: Great Frame rates
Day of Defeat 1.5: Great Frame rates
Diablo II: Great Frame rates
Morrowind: Runs fine at low settings.
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas: Runs at around 25fps
Minecraft: Laggy at about 15fp but playable sometimes.

What games do you play on your netbook?

Which netbook?
Even CS 1.6 lags near unplayably on my laptop which shares the GMA 950 as most netbooks have (and it has a C2D T5500)..

I can't get my netbook to play much. It runs Sim City 4 Deluxe alright in the early stages, I bet I could get Civ 3 running well. Dwarf Fortress runs slowly but still playable if you're willing to be a bit on the patient side of things.

Well how mant gigs of ram do you have in your netbook? Cuz I can run games & alt-tab without any lag or crash.

My netbooks specs are as follows

1.6GHz hyper threaded Atom (not sure which one).
2GBs RAM DDR2 667
500GB HDD
Intel GMA 950

And so on.

As you can see, I've upgraded it as best I can at the moment.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to play the games I've been playing. Half Life 1 mods run perfectly at max graphics, & I just installed Spore today. It works pretty good at minimum graphics at 800x600. Although Spore runs at about 10-20FPS, there's no lag at all.

I think we need to revisit the definition of lag. Some people, myself included would see 10-20 fps as laggy. I certainly cannot fathom playing games at 10 fps.

Intel 3150 chips are quite a bit better than the GMA 950's.

I think if it was laggy I would be able to tell. I sold my beast of a desktop, so I could have a laptop, & a desktop. So I know what games are like without lag, & even if it's 10-20fps, there's no lag on my netbook what so ever except in minecraft.
