GTS 450 SLI screen flickering

Thread Starter
I have the two cards in SLI below, and it seems to have screen flickers whenever i enter fullscreen mode in any games (crysis, SC2, etc). RUNS FINE in WINDOWED MODE

Swapped out both of the cards in PCI slots, flipped the SLI bridge, reinstalled latest nvidia drivers and such, but the problem seems to not go away.

The Asus card works fine, I had that originally. Note that the Gigabyte gts 450 runs at 830mhz , and my Asus runs at 925mhz. I heard that when you sli though, they both drop down to the lowest setting possible, meaning 830mhz.

Tried out the cards one by one, Asus card works fine, Gigabyte card works fine (though much slower fps then i thought)

After a bit of searching, I suspect it is the...
1. Sli bridge?
2. Drivers? revert to a stable one? (any suggestions of drivers)
3. Faulty Gigabyte card? (behaved a bit strange when i put it in single slot, no screen flickering but slow fps rates and screen flashed once in a while).

Any suggestions to fix this?

if both cards perform fine when working alone then that signals its not the actual card. Try running it without the bridge and see what happens. Another thing is try each card one by one in the second pci-e slot you are using to make sure that its not the slot itself.

Just wondering, search online a bit further and it seems like there are many more stuff to consider..

1.something with realtek drivers interfering
2.plugging into the primary PCI slot card (in this case, my asus. Plugging into 2nd slot makes the screen flickering WORSE)

This is aggravating, currently trying to find older drivers that might fix this issue. Any other suggestions?

so the first slot with individual cards works fine but the second makes the screen flickering worse? if thats so its the slot or drivers.
