AMD Phenom 940 running very hot now - Page 5

I used to have those same ram actually. If your board allows you to run the two sticks in the farthest right 2 slots and you dont mind loosing 2 ram slots get something like the nh d-14 or even better thermalright silver arrow. If you are spending over 100$ on a cooler than you mind as well just get the rasa water kit and go full water. The rs360 is under 200 and is a great kit. I regret getting the h50 tbh. I needed to be lapped washer modded and the backplates are crap. Overall im not very happy with it but my temps are fine now that I have modded the crap out of it lol

By the way, are the heatpipes in good condition? I mean, you haven't done like the guy that complained about the Megahalems' poor performance after hacksawing the heatpipes' tops, right?

By the way, how clean is your heatsink? And what fan (and speed) are you using?
Please show me the thread for lol's.

Low budget:

High Budget:

use the promo code EMCYTZT289 to get a %15 discount. Unless you do heavy overclocking, the low budget heatsink should be fine
