I think that the main draw for using it on the PC are for games that play like crap using a keyboard and mouse. Like racing games, some puzzle games, etc. Also many of the console ports to the PC play like crap using a keyboard and mouse.

Might be interested in this. Currently I don't have a game pad.

Some games are a little nicer to play with a controller(unfortunately). Like Street Fighter IV for example try playing it on a keyboard and mouse. As far as racing games are concerned get a wheel and flying game get a good stick. I would use this for GTA IV for example because I think the driving on mouse and keyboard is crap in that game but still use my mouse and keyboard for running and shooting(need precision).

Possibly the ugliest thing Razer has produced. Expect cheap build quality again >. Why cant they ever do something aesthetically pleasing?

I think it looks as good as you can expect a 360 controller to look.

I can understand one of these on a Xbox hell I've ordered one for my cousin for his birthday but I cannot for the life of me think where this would be good enough to replace the keyboard and mouse setup I've got going.
Not everyone plays FPS or MMOs. I'm a gamer, I play just about everything. You're not going to catch me playing racing games or arcade games (super meat boy) or even sandbox (saints/gta) with a mouse and keyboard. But thats really all preference. I know some people who prefer to poor precision of a keyboard in racing games.

EDIT: As for the "Get a wheel" for racing games or "Get a joystick" for flying games, yes you could and yes it does make it more enjoyable. I have a pretty nice Logitech wheel I got awhile back that makes racing much more fun and precise;however, a controller is just as good and it allows you to play pretty much anything and saves a ton of desk space.

Great, 2 weeks after I gave up waiting they open up pre-orders. I wonder what was the hold up was since the programmable buttons are still there.
