i-rocks kr-6230 availability?

Thread Starter
Does anyone know what the deal is with the i-rocks kr-6230? Everywhere I go, the thing is "sold out", "discontinued", etc. I have been calling their office today but nobody picks up, maybe cuz it's MLK day... What gives?

If it's really that impossible to get your hands on, can anyone recommend me a mechanical keyboard? I need:

1. A large left control button.
2. Large Enter button.
3. Relatively compact, no numpad is a plus.
4. 70-100$ price range.

As for what switches I want, I've never used a mechanical keyboard so I'm not particular; whatever the consensus is on the 'best' for gaming is cool.

Thanks peeps

will you be gaming for FPS or RTS type games? if it is FPS then i would try out the Black Cherry switches to start with and if it is RTS then try either Browns or Blues to start with. It is mostly personal preference though and all i can offer is what the majority ends up liking the most for certain tasks, you may be an exception so try out some other switches if you get the chance!

I'm an RTS player, I just play FPS casually, which is why I really want this keyboard since it has a large ctrl key, and in any given game I probably use the control key like 500 times to make control groups (Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc).

Yeah I've never used a mechanical keyboard so I don't really have a preference with regards to what switches I want, but I'll keep that in mind!

how much do you type on a regular basis? i would start off with the blues and if you do not like them sell them and try out some browns, mech keyboards keep their value very well so selling will not lose you much money so long as the buyer is being fair.

I would also like to know. I sold mine off but now would like to buy one for a family member. It is great since it's so compact. The browns are fine for gaming and fps.
