For memory, it looks as if CAS7 1866 would be good or CAS9 2133.
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/mem...sandy-bridge/1

What features are you looking for with regards to a mobo? If your looking to eventually go with a tri-sli you'd want either the UD7 or MivE. If your not needing that then I personally went with the UD5. Reason I chose GB over Asus, the OC is not just on turbo. Sin did a very good review on the UD7, UD5 is almost identical, just does not have the following: NF200, dual NIC (not needed, not having system as a proxy, nor will a dual homed increase any performance for home use), 2 SATA3 6Gb/s is plenty for my purposes (it does have 2 eSATA 3). UEFI will be out shortly, GB is fixing the bugs before they release unlike others.

*Edit*
Why the RASA kit? I have seen no reason to go WC on SB, these will hit 5+Ghz on Air. If you are worried about temps, looks like NH-D14 or SA will be your best options. The cost savings you then get applied to a GTX570 over your 460's. The HX 850 will support 2.

Thanks for the heads up on the memory

I am wanting two-way SLI with ability to do physx later

I need a pci-e 1x for my sound card

I also want to OC well and be a stable board

With Sata 6 for SSD

And I want to do water cooling because I have never done it and I want to branch into that

How much are those coolers that you are recommending?

And will the 850 support 2 460's + 1 GT 240 for physx?

cooler $90 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608018

1 570 should do about the same as 2 460's http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/H...D_6970/29.html also
http://www.overclock.net/intel-gener...-my-rig-3.html
if you scroll down there is a bench for bad company 2. A single GTX 580 gives more FPS than 465 SLI. The GTX 570 is very close to the 580 and the second fastest Vid Card out there... The cost of 460's SLI is roughly $500, the single 570 is $370.

I agree with the cooler choice, very good. If you want to go watercooling, plan on spending at least $200-$250 or up to $400-$500 for a high end loop. The Noctua NH-D14 is as good as it gets air cooling wise and will most likely suffice.

However, if he wants to spend $500 on graphics cards, I would recommend Crossfire 6870s. It will quite handily beat a single GTX580 for about the same price.

Also, for the motherboard, if you want to go Crossfire or SLI I would recommend this board. It is about as good of a P67 board you will get without spending $350 on a UD7 for dual x16 PCI-E lanes. If you really want a Physx card(very overrated) then you should go for the UD5 for the extra PCI-E 2.0 slot. The Asus P8P67-Pro is a similar board and will work just as well as the UD4.

Thanks for the advice!

As for ATI cards I am a total noob in that realm...

I haven't owned an ATI card since my Sapphire 9600 Atlantis!

+ Rep for all... Keep em coming!

ATI cards a nice options as they are not that so fast as NVDIA's but still competitive enough plus they consume less power on idle state..well i went the NVDIA way since i got dissapointed the drivers that were coming out from ATI before..makes my nose bleed in despair..
