PS3 doesn't have WMC, but you can connect > copy/stream music, pictures, or videos from any shared library from any computer on the same network. I live in a college dorm, so there are tons of "media servers" I just connect to and stream countless amounts of media.
PS3 not only has netflix, but it has its own content directly from the PSN. Thousands of HD/SD movies/shows. You can rent/buy, etc. There is a dedicated NHL channel, MLB channel, Dew Sports, etc. The amount of media the PS3 offers is ridiculous. While the 360 has a great collection, it can't stand to what the PS3 has to offer. Half the things the 360 tries to use as "features" are common things you could do with a simple web browser. Wait, the PS3 has one of those.
Along beside that, just off the top of my head, it offers:
Qore
The Tester
Playstation Home, while not media itself, it has tons of media in-world; such as the theatre.
Built in video editor and uploader
Qriocity
Hulu Plus
Life With Playstation
VUDU
Mubi
PlayMemories
Photo Gallery
VidZone
Catch Up TV

The only thing in media that even keeps the 360 on my list of possible media devices is the fact it has the Zune built in. I am a huge fan of the Zune. Though, the 360 isn't worth buying for its games, so I'd never pay for a 3rd one just to use the zune software. Plus, I already have it, on PC.

Are you kidding? Exclusives for the 360 aren't, because almost all of those "exclusives" are on and better on the PC. PS3 exclusives however, are absolutely amazing and can't be played on PC. Uncharted, Heavy Rain, MGS, Little Big Planet, Infamous, Socom, God of War... the list goes on.

You have either lied about owning a PS3 to try to hide your obnoxiously obvious fanboyism, or you owned the PS3 for about two days and never tried anything.

Wow every one of those things you listed the 360 does and has done before the PS3 did.

Also, if you want to compare exclusives, the 360 wins again. Halo destroys everything you listed in terms of quality and sales. And that is just one of the many quality franchises Microsoft has.

There's a reason why the 360 has always outsold the PS3, because the consumers know what is best.

Let me find my icing to this Xbox cake here, I think we need to sell more...

Oh yeah, that's right I got Hulu icing right here!

But wait, of course we need toppings too, anything that ads <<haha, eye candy..
(ads = adds)

Wait, hold the press, this is M$ talking, ok, you can ignore now..

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Next we have Xbox live in 3D, of course it will be a pay to play service.. meh..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wait, next on the agenda grab more consumers shake upside down till money falls out, yeah, and then, world domination, wait, is that Russia in rebellion there?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok enough ranting and raving, XBox is STILL too costly, just like PS3, most "sensible" parents aren't going to drop $300+ on a 'toy' for a kid, wait, that's just the box, what about the Xgames? um, yeah, meh!

Most of those things are exclusive to the PS, so your entire statement is pure trash. There is a different between intentionally trolling, and just being stupid. You aren't intentionally trolling. Meh, I'll still humor you.
The 360 does almost none of those. You can view pictures, in plain 2D picture viewer mode and do the almighty original, stream a movie. Congrats, your 360 is the best media device ever.

For sales. Here, let me enlighten you with facts.
As of September of 2010 the PS3 has sold 41.6 million units, being released November 2006. As of January 2011 (this month) the 360 has sold 50 million units, being released November 2005.
With basic statistics, over the course of 62 months the 360 has sold roughly 806452 units per month since its release. Over the course of 46 months, the PS3 has sold roughly 904348 units per month. This implies the PS3 sales 97896 more units per month than the 360. The PS3 outsells even though they released a year later than the 360, and released costing $600. Lets not forget the massive amount of sales the 360 had simply to replace the massive number of malfunctioned devices, which still continue to be replaced with redesigns of the faulty product. The 360's sales figures even include the sales-burst gained not only from Kinect bundles, but from the "slim" redesign. While you can claim anything you want and throw any ignorant false statements around all you want to protect one of the worst consoles ever made, the numbers show you that the PS3 not only beats it in multimedia and exclusives, but in sales. Another fun fact, as of early this month Sir Howard Stringer announced PSN has over 60 million registered accounts, compared to the 30 million LIVE accounts. Before you spout "its free!", those numbers include the willingly paid PSN Plus accounts, and the free Silver accounts on LIVE.

Derp.

Um - you didn't read his post clearly.
All of your posts just went out the window because you're just posting random garbage at this point. Anyone who wants to sit down and argue, especially on the internet, has to listen to the other person otherwise: you don't know what you're talking about and end up looking like a fool.

You simply couldn't have read his post because like 25 out of the 30 things he mentioned the 360 does not have, or anything that is remotely similar to the 360. Nor did before the PS3 did. And he didn't even mention Hulu, which the PS3 has had for months on end before the 360 just like netflix on the 360.

Anyways - the 360 is a great "HTPC" if you wish. But, in my opinion, that means nothing without Bluray at this point so..... meh. Unless you find watching stretched "720p" Netflix videos on your TV to be considered high def I suppose.

I don't understand why Netflix does that on a side note. Why does the PS3 have "1080p", or should I say higher bit rate quality, and surround sound streaming while the 360 doesn't? This exclusive crap has to stop, especially when the PC gets it last.

My buddy has a brand new 63" samsung plasma tv, He has netflix on both xbox360 and PS3 both connected HDMI to the Tv and the Xbox360 streams a much clearer HD signal to the tv. We both know that the PS3 is more capable of streaming HD content but on the same TV and internet connection the Xbox360 is superior at streaming netflix. This could also be in part due to the fact the ps3 has a somewhat lacking underfunded network compared to microsoft.

so netflix= Xbox360
media streaming= PS3

on the other side of things his ps3 has less issues streaming content from his pc over the local network, xbox 360 seems to have some syncing issues with content.
