unlocked x3 740 @ 3.48GHz, CPU/NB @2.74GHz, RAM @ 1680, I'll leave it there for now

Thread Starter
For $100 all included, I got this C2 stepping pII x3 740BE, it unlocked to a x4 40BE, and it seems to OC very well with my MB and RAM.

For now I think I'll leave it at this level,

16.5x210=3465 MHz at ~1.4 V
13x210=2730 MHz CPU/NB at 1.35625 V
1680 MHz at 1.475 V with 7-8-7-20-28-1T
9x210=1890 MHz HT

The voltage sliders can go much higher, especially the RAM volts, but I think I'll leave it like this for a while, maybe just try to lower the RAM times.

I don't want to be greedy and fry something, as its not needed, my 5670 is my bottleneck.

Prime95 custom (which I hope is like blend) with 2800MB RAM use has been running for almost 2hr so far, only 1 temp is available, I guess the socket temp, so I pretend the cores are +10C hotter.

And with prime running, and 2 case fans running that are a bit loud for normal use, so I only use the front 1 for games, the temps are very good.

I've read here that 2000HT is optimal for C2 chips, so I don't know if 1890HT is better or worse than 2100HT.

You should be able to hit 3.6 with 1.45v easily

HT clock leave at 1890mhz, don't use a clock over 2000mhz it can make the system become unstable.

I had a PhenomII-720 @x4 3.5ghz around 1.42v too. But for 3.6 I had to set vcore 1.45v it was too much, so I leave it at 3.5ghz.
