Crucial C300 128GB vs Micron C300 128GB - Page 2

Mines been flashed since they released 0006 and not a single problem
post #12 of 19
crucial is owned by micron LOL Micron owns marvell as well. So micron makes the controller, makes the memory, and crucial sells it.

I guess I will cancel my C300 order and get an OCZ Vertex 2 or wait for Vertex 3 or C400.

How is Corair Force 120GB by the way?

well 002 firmware is 100% fine and i would take it over sandforce well i actually had both and did. i never upgraded to 006 firmware, but I know you can downgrade to 002.

In hindsight I would have bought the Vertex 2 rather than the C300 64 I have now. Although the C300 in my opinion is faster (4K reads) over the Vertex 2 even under SATA II, Crucial's lack of a response to the 006 firmware problems is unacceptable. My next SSD will be a Vertex 3.
