It seems lots of PC gamers have OC'ed machines that are not stable, then find that out later when trying to figure out why their game app keeps crashing. However, I love BC2, but it's full of development fail!

If you don't run Prime95;Blend for at least 14 hours to find stablity, we can't be sure it's not the computer crashing the app.

worth a try ,although i suppose moving to a newer maybe more demanding os could show up even the smallest instability.

i updated this driver "Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset Processor to I/O Controller - 2E20 " its date was 2006 to a 2009 version but it made no difference.

not sure if mentioned but after the crash on reboot the os cant detect any graphics card until i reinstall the ati drivers then its fine till the next bsod.

going to give it prime95 and see how it gets on i will update of course.
thanks for the suggestions ppl.

update:

actually got playing last night and no bsod only thing was i put the bios settings on default and it seems fine but im not losing out a a gig more speed so i will have to do a new oc.

at the moment i dropped my fsb from 533 to 500@4ghz so going to test it on the game as its not crashing with prime,i dont even need to be playing for the crash just adjusting the graphics setting was doing it.
