I would go with the H50/H70, that's the closest you will get to silent without spending a lot of money on an expensive water cooling setup. The stock fans (fans that come with the unit) are easily replaceable, you could pick up a better pair for $10 or so.
I wouldn't go with a massive HSF such as the Silver Arrow or D14 because they might not fit in your case, and will most likely be louder than a H50 or H70. Also, you probably won't need something that large unless you overclock the heck out of that system.

Oh, and please take everyone's advice and switch out that 2GB stick for a 4GB stick.

EDIT:

alice, i agree with you, but he was really looking for silent, and nhd 14 is an awesome choice for that if he buys some quieter fans for it.
that is all

edit: what is your computer reporting as available memory? right click my computer and go to properties. it might be possible to run tripple channel with that setup, but the 4gb chips will be reported as 2gb chips. i could be wrong about this though

its saying 10.0GB as installed RAM.
how can i tell if its actually RUNNING in triple mode though?

P.S - just installed a 2nd AOC 24" monitor, so running with about 48" in total now!
i was wondering, although these monitors are Full HD and have a 60,000:1 contrast, they're both VGA! that doesnt seem right :S i didnt think you could have that kind of quality through VGA?

also, one is hooked up to the VGA port, the other to the DVI port with a VGA adaptor. will the DVI one have better quality? or will the VGA adaptor reduce it down to the same as the one plugged into the VGA port?

hope that made sense...

yes it is. super quiet. i think the d14 is the best choice for an air cooler, if your case can fit it.

lol. the h50/70 are louder than the d14 with stock fans. the d14 comes with 1200rpm fans. you cant hear them at all. also the key to having quiet cooling is performance. the better your cooling performs the more you can turn the fans down. this is common sense.

its not. not if its reporting 10gb.id get rid of that 2gb and replace it with a 4gb stick(preferably identical to the two you already have.

and please dont listen to people recommending the h50/h70. it performs like a 212+. the d14 is a far better choice. . but if you just want quiet, go for the d14. its 1200 rpms are the quietest you will get.
