790i maxed out?

here i sit at 492 on my 9550 at vcore of 1.386 but my cpuz shows 1.448 at idle.

i was told that i was only to be concerned with my vcore above 1.4 when i am at 100% load is this correct? any who i keep pushing this chip as high as it will go and i seem to have hit the wall at this point. the 790i is 2000mhz rated but does that mean it will be stable in windows at that point?

can someone suggest a board that will support 3 nvidia cards that has the stoneaged 775? or is it a time to say goodbye part her out and upgrade? i am trying to hold out until ivy is released but i wanna have a flipping fast as a demon cpu. what gives?

Yes, the 790i can support (3) Nvidia gpu's. Just go to the EVGA website and download the manual if you do not have one Regarding to your vcore, you are experiencing vdroop. What bios are you currently using? Is that Q9550 an E0 stepping? If so, you might be able to lower your vcore.

So at 100% load, your vcore is 1.384? At idle it's 1.448? All of this is reading from CPU-Z?

What is your vcore set in the bios?
