plus on the sliding pic, thats something i want to take soon too as the drifting scene here in west palm beach is kinda big and formula D is coming in june!
At the moment I shoot with a Nikon D700, had a D200 before that, both have served me well.
Any tips? Thats a rather broad question haha but I think the biggest thing I can say is dont worry about the gear you use, the latest and greatest camera isnt going to make you any better at photography, but practice, practice and again more practice will. Think about what you want to shoot before you shoot it, and most importantly dont worry what others think about your photography... Well unless you shoot commercially of course haha.
People tell me all the time I do too much post production to my shots and dont follow the typical photography rules... I say screw the rules and shoot what you like, thats all that really matters anyways. Some will like it, some wont.
