Welcome to the forums and have a loot around and don't be shy. Although your board isn't the best for overclocking, I see at least 3.6Ghz in your future. As for the 460s, if you get some good ones with nice VIDs I see at 800-900Mhz overclock ^_^
yup seems 3.6Ghz is a decent for the Q9550..it aint slouch..

Thanks for the info and I'll be having a look at the mobos you guys posted, just happy I have suggestions so I didn't go with the actual intel board.
well YES i do agree that Corsair has the friendly guys when it comes to support and RMA..well i just thought that the mems are just UBER..well ive been reading on forums that SB is not board dependent when in terms of OCing..every board around(including Asrock) can do a decent 5ghz to 5.5ghz..well then if you're picky with the features the board has to carry well you do have alot of choices out there buddy..
take time to read long here in the forums and ask around members on SB platform..
