For the past few days I've a had a few problems starting my rig. The one day I came home to a BSOD, but only an hour before I ad checked it via TeamViewer at work and it was fine. No biggie, I shut down and all is well. Then, I've been leaving it off these past few days, because I already have the folding rig running 24/7, and with the warm weather we've been having, I've had the AC on as well.

Came home today to a 90 degree apartment (no ac last night cuz I can't afford to run it all the time), an go to turn my rig on. It flashes the Marvel BIOS screen, then the display says 'no signal', and it just keeps getting to the Marvell screen. Finally, I hit delete to get into the BIOS and then F10 to save settings and exit, and it boots fine.

Anyone else experience anything like that?

While mine was different (wouldnt even flash bios screen), I think its safe to say we have all had problems with our BIOS. they just better fix it soon.

So, I think something is really wrong with my board...

OCing my GPU over the weekend caused me to crash out of TW2. No biggie I thought, until I tried to turn the PC back on and got no signal. Naturally I figured my card had died (and it might have), but when I replaced it with a working GT 430 from another pc, the comp hung at the Windows splash screen and refused to boot.

It hangs booting into safe mode, it hangs booting from the installation CD and it hangs booting from my back up HDD with my SSD unplugged in IDE mode. This 430 works just fine after plugging it back in the other rig mind you.

So today I grabbed a new 9800GT just to test it out and the problem persists. I can't load into windows at all. I also noticed that while all of my drives show up in BIOS, for whatever reason, only one at a time is visible in the boot options, despite both of them having a windows partition on them.

Does anyone have any idea *** is going on here. I've never killed a mobo from OCing a video card before...

Tried both slots and it's the same with either of them. IDK what would cause something like this all of a sudden. I reset my BIOS settings to defaults, then re-enabled X.M.P. and switched my drives to AHCI mode, and it bluescreened at the splash screen this time (way too fast for me to see what the error code was though).

I had another little glitch that i hope wont happen again.

Yesterday I booted up and played some Black Ops. After an hour of gaming I turned on Itunes only to get the message that no folder was choosen for my itunes library. It turns out that my d: drive was missing ( win7 and games on my ssd = c:, all my music, pics and such on a regular disc =d: )
After a reboot it was visible again. What could cause a drive to just vanish like that.
