There isn't an option called "vdroop control"?

Yes, but no one's been able to make it work.

Thanks for the info.

Honestly how does this type of stuff get missed in reviews? You would think that voltage regulation would be priority #1 in a review on a motherboard marketed at overclockers.

Nope, normal reviewers don't care about HC OC'ers unless the board is specifically marketed for such people. I am a bit impressed, 'cause almost all sites try manual OCs, yet as you said, no one mentions it. Some mention it but don't test to see if it can be removed (and why should they, one would assume the function works). My review (found in OP of this thread) mentions it though, so people who research carefully will find it.

I'll be honest I was talking about [H]. There is no reason for them to have not mentioned this in either the GD80 review or the GD65 review. Here is a link to the [H] GD-80 review if you want to add it to the OP.

I have to admit that the review in the op is great. There is a lot of very good info in that post. I forgot to +rep you for it.

Has anybody else tried V1.14 (1.E)? It says its suppose to "improve Vdroop control function" and I think it's working for me.

Thanks to B!0HaZard for a great thread with all the information i needed to get what i was beginning to think was a bad CPU, up to a so far stable, 4.7Ghz overclock. I bought this board yesterday as a replacement for my Asrock P67 PRO. You can see from this thread the trouble i had with that:http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...-club-104.html

After not even being to get to 4Ghz stable, this board runs like a dream and while i seem to have a problem booting at 4.5, 4.7 is stable so far at 1.384 Vcore and I'm more than happy with that

I bought this board yesterday and mine came with a flexible SLI connector, 4 SATA leads (the right angle type on one end), driver / software CD, Quick start guide and user guides, 1 big multi language user guide for the motherboard and a smaller user guide for the software included on the driver disk, which i didn't use as i downloaded everything from the MSI website in preparation. Also,as expected, the rear I/O shield is included. Hope that helps, it's a great board

Are you saying 4.5 is unstable, but 4.7 runs great? Anyway, did you read my OC guide?

True, there's a flexible SLI connector (but no CF connector as they are supplied with AMD cards).
