My fans arern't stuck at 65% with 1.H but they don't spin up very much past 1-2% at full load and won't go below 65% unless set manualy...Is this normal? Cos its rubbish lol

I used a fan controller, so I don't see the bug.

Yes, 1.H is broken.

Hmmm...I like the board and I was impressed that MSI seem to listen to the community and fix bugs pretty rapid with the EFI but, a fix that doesn't work is no fix at all...come on MSI...

Hi,
I recently updated to the latest BIOS (1.H) and I was wondering, if there is any option how could I set various voltage? I have already written in here couple of months ago that the voltages went way up after update from revision B1 to revision B3 and I would love to get that "B1 state" back... My temps on B1 rev. were about 25°C in idle and now they are about 38°C (before update to 1.H it was 43°C).

On B1, I had idle voltage about 0.95V, when it was in full load, it had maximum voltage 1.248V. But now on B3, my idle voltage jumps from that 0.96V to 1.3V without any obvious reason and in load, it goes almost to 1.4V...

Is there any settings which could limit the voltage jumps in idle and which could limit maximum voltage to say 1.248V without the need to stay on that voltage the whole time?

Thx for advice smile.gif

But at least I dont suffer from any fan problems, as the others on 1.H do... So maybe its not only BIOS fault? Maybe its high-speed fans related, my fan does maximum of 1500RPM...

Nope, mine do 800, 1350 and 1500 RPM respectively.

Hey just recently switched from a GD65 to a GD80 cause I wanted to play with hybrid PhysX some

Was going to update the BIOS on this thing cause I keep having issues with the damned keyboard in the BIOS, I'm at version 10.0 latest is 10.5. Are GD80 users having the fan issues? Any GD80 users have a certain BIOS they reccomend? I know on my GD65 certain BIOS revisions worked better for O/C (and gave me High / low vdroop options).
