How many times is it rebooting? It's supposed to reboot 3 times (on stock setting in overclock profile) if it's a failed overclock. I've found that once you get past 4.6Ghz, XMP (for me) doesn't seem to like to work, so I have to manually set mine to 2133Mhz. MSI says that rebooting *once* is normal as it's just the motherboard syncing the memory controller in the CPU to the requested speed of the memory when overclocking.

Hi everyone,

New here. I am awaiting my GD65 board from newegg and was wondering if you guys can answer a question i have.

So basically I will be hooking up a Thermaltake Frio as the cpu cooler and use Corsair Vengeance RAM. Will it be a clearance issue if I install both of the fans on the cooler?

Thanks!

I'm not quite sure what the height difference between your Vengeance heatsinks and my Pi series are, (both are pretty tall) but I had to slide the push fan up about an inch and a half on my megahalem's to clear the ram before I went to water. (25mm fans)

Thanks for the reply!

I was thinking about using the scythe slim fan for the one near the RAM, this wouldnt be a problem, right? Other than the fact I would loose the fan controller feature that came with the Frio fan.

you will be fine with the frio... just push the fan up a tiny bit, does not make a big impact (noticable) on performance at all...

im running the same fan on my rig right now, all i did was push the fan out of its "socket" and upwards a tiny little bit, works fine

pic to proof :
