It's telling you that your overclock failed. You can change the amount of times it reboots on a failed overclock. (If it's doing it 3 times, then launching into BIOS) If it's constantly doing it, I'd try to reset the CMOS by flicking off your PSU and holding the reset CMOS button on the back for 10 seconds.

At least that's my guess after a ton of trial and error.

I built mine last night. I posted about it on the intel build logs but a question with this mobo. There was a little pack of adaptors or extra prongs in a tiny ziplock bag. What are they for? Are they nessary?

Also only one internal usb...that sucks! now I cant inistall my memory card reader.

true with the usb part,

the extra little prongs are either one of these :
a) voltage read out extensions or
b) quick connectors, which are for connecting your frontpanel, and you dont have to do it over again next time you unhook them kinda
post #247 of 1895
Just put mine together Wednesday night after work... until Thursday morning. 9-(

The tiny ziplock bags are adaptors used to combine the front panel conenctors onto the one plug which you can then plug onto the MB.

Currently running a safe and stable 4.5GHZ with just 1.4V on the CPU.

One thing during the install that I didnt like was the CPU cooler that I got, Coolmaster V8, didnt fit on as smoothly as I would have liked. I thought the mounts were supposed to bolt directly on to the board, but I ended up having to balance the cooler on the CPU and gently and evenly tighten down the 4 nuts on the back. Oh, and for the longest time, the system wouldnt recognize my SLI, but then it just started working. 9-/ FM!

Definatly love this board right here. I have it with my i5 2500k and got it clocked to 4.8GHz stable. Ran prime95 for a few good hours with realtemp. My max temp hit was 70C. Running the vcore at 1.375. I tried to go to 50 and 49 multiplier but not stable. here are some screenshots.

I haven't overclocked anything yet. This is the very first boot of a brand new built rig.
