Ok, installed Win7. Dont have internet drivers, dont have VGA drivers. Pretty much nothing. Not experienced this as my last Gigabyte mobo let Windows download the drivers.

Could someone verify the Intel Management Engine shows up for them in device manager, under System Devices? For some reason, mine is missing (I was one of the ones with the save bug so this could be the cause).
I can't even install the MEI driver. Every time I try it just says that my system doesn't support it. Unfortunately MSI control center requires it to change anything in windows.

The mobo seems to be a little buggy. I had installed 1.8B6 and then all of a sudden it booted up to an old overclock save and reverted back to 1.7. Also if I just change the clock settings or voltage it will also change boot devices back to default. I hope they do some major revisions on the bios to get the kinks out.

Also I can't overclock past 4.3 GHz- period. It seems to be a wall for my processor and board. Anyone know how high can I go with my VTT? I haven't tried changing that yet.

There's a brand new bug a few of us have discovered. See this thread here http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=144484.360
Basically some of us dont seem to the Intel ME on our system! I have a ticket open with MSI support plus the thread I linked. No idea if we'll have to RMA our board or if they can fix it at this point.

Thanks, the weird thing is Intel MEI does appear in device manager for me. Unfortunately the MSI control center keeps telling me to install it to enable cpu overclock.

That is strange. I know someone in the thread I linked mentioned you will get an error if you try to install the MEI and it's already the current version you have. When you flashed to 1.8b6, did you use the image with the MEI firmware update also? There could be a bug with MSI control center that makes that message appear every time, regardless.

Ok just got back to messing around with it. I uninstalled control center then I ran the MEI installer as an administrator. This time the MEI installer didn't give me its error message about not supporting my system, it ended successfully. I reinstalled control center and viola! no error message. I think the trick was running the installer as an admin.

I'm not sure what you mean about the MEI firmware update. I didn't realize there was one. I'll go back and look for it.

Now if only I can clock higher than 4.3 and get my temps down I'll be set. I'm really not sure why my cooling is an issue. It is a kinda tight case but I have dual 80mm in and dual 80mm out.

If my 55 supports it, I don't see why your 65 wouldn't...
