DDO is freaking awesome.
Its an entirely different MMO. the combat, the spells, the dungeons filled with traps. Monsters that are not cookie cutter, you will need to bring an arsenal of different weapons to fight enemies because there is not 1 type of damage.
I wish more games had dungeon crawls where is not fight, rest, fight, rest, fight rest. In DDO you have limited resting areas, so you have to save them and use them responsibly.
Character building. Marvelous, just plain marvelous. DnD multiclassing has always been awesome.
RPGs dont get much better than DDO, and they sure as hell dont get better in the MMO department. This is DnD, pretty much the oldest and most tested and best character building out there. No looky me im a warrior and i stack strength, i got 6000 strength now and 1000000 hitpoints and i crit for 2000000. Take a hike noobs. bigger numbers are used to hide a flawed system and to look cooler, because everyone knows that bigger numbers are more awesome.
i can understand the game not being to your tastes. But to say it sucks when you barely touched it reeks if ignorance.
