I only ask because on the Asus site and MSI site it says they can do 3-way but does'nt say if they can do four, I know it dosent scale very well but I just want to know!

Thanks, Sir Overkill.

Hello! I really would love some infomation on using waterblocks and warranty if anyone has any, Or anyone with experince with using waterblocks and warranty with other brands other then EVGA?
Mainly MSI and Asus, I have read the warranty terms on there website's, but am still not sure. I am about to make a purchase and would love your experince/opinion!

Thanks, Sir Overkill.

The 4th card is only REALLY noticeable during benchmarks and such, actual gaming performance won't use much more then the 4rd GPU, but you could always go Tri-SLI 580's and something like a GTX 460 for PhysX.

These 2 tests concern GTX580 4-way SLI.

http://translate.google.com/translat...eview-schaling

http://translate.google.com/translat...tii-multi-card

Basically, 4-way SLI scales -18% to +18% over 3-way SLI for GTX580 under driver 262.99 at ~2560x1600.

The table below is 'informing'.

Yes they are cappable of 4-way SLI. Just the thought of that is scary, so much watts for one lil computer. :O

C'mon!! Are you building a machine to take over the world? Or a computer powerful enough to play a machine like that?
yes they can do 4 way SLI.... but 3 way IS OVERKILL....

you only would ever need 4x 580 for Nvidia Surround with 3d Vision
