There is a science fiction series named, Jung Kuo that is quite entertaining and thought provoking.

Jung Kuo (Center, or Central Nation/Country) is the Chinese name for its Country.

Awesome. So they take the tech, and build these 1-man arial assault vehicles that can't be identified by radar, and they proceed to take over the world....

Or maybe that was thee plot of a terrible video game I once played. *shrug*

As much disdain as there is for China, they're doing quite a bit right to boost their economic growth, far moreso than any other country in the world.
