Corsair Dominator - Any better deals for the price? - Page 2

I have the dual channel version of the Dominator kit there, 7-8-7-20-1T with 1.6v. They're PSC mem ICs (just like the PIs these other guys have shown) if you can live with that.

I hate it when people do that. They're compensating for something

That is not a bad price, but it's likely all these chips are capable of approximately the same timings/clock speeds. I haven't tried to run my Dominators at 6-8-6-20, but they pull off 7-8-7-20-1T with the same voltage these are rated for.

tl;dr All these kits are PSC chips, get whichever you like the look of, or whichever is cheaper.

I am crossing my fingers for higher binned PSC's on the new Ripjaws. I have the 6-8-6/1600/1.5v installed in my system, and when I get back from running some errands, I will see what kind of results I can get.

You might be able to do 2000 with those Pi's @ 1.65v, because the Pi's are rated for 1600 @ 6-8-6/1.6v.

Yeah, I will probably get somewhere around 2000MHz with it, & after awhile of thinking, the 6GB G-Skill PI CAS 6 1600MHz would be the best option for the price, it's got good timings (6-8-6-20) and it's cas 6, which is also good.

Thanks HobieCat!
