Asus Sabertooth X58 Ram Issue

Thread Starter
A couple of days ago I sell my Gigabyte X58A-UD5 ragarding the cold boot issues and buy Asus Sabertooth X58.The mobo is great except one issue about the rams.I have a kit of Gskill Pi Series 3x2 gb 1600 mhz 6-8-6-20@1.6 V.Ram kit is working perfectly normally, but when I shut the PC and shut it on in a couple of hours when it is cold,my mobo recognizes 4 gb instead of 6 gb.I tried the mem ok button,it changes the qpi/dram voltage to 1.40 and solves the problem temporarily. When I try the put the system on in a couple of hours the same issue continues.I have the last updated bios which is 0802.When the bios is counting the total amount of ram and shows 4 gb,I enter the bios and lower the frequency to 1333 mhz, save the settings and restart it shows 6 gb.After then I enter to the bios and change the frequency to 1600 mhz it shows 6 gb.Do I have to enter to the bios everytime ? Because this is the only solution at the moment.I need your recommendations regarding the situation please...

This can also be a physical issues. I noticed that when i put my aftermarket cooler on It pulled the motherboard a bit and was tweaking it. this is when that problem happened to me. I loosed things up and it went away. Otherwise who knows. I haven't read a real fix on this problem with the x58 chipset. But it seem to span the entire x58 world, no ram is safe no setting certain...lol

G.Skill PI is technically not on the G.Skill QVI compatibility list for this motherboard too jsut so you know. I am researching right now and was considering buying it.
