So what is the best quality PSU I can get on a budget? <£30 would be great but I dont know if thats a bit optimistic. The cheapest PSU that you would recommend would be great!
do you need an 8 pin cpu?

Nope, 4pin will be fine. And tbh, iv used so called "Junk PSU's" before and never had a problem, had some generic 700w running with an OC'd 1055t and 4850x2, only reason im actually looking for a "solid" psu is because its for a friend. I may just get a cheap 700w since that would be fine for a system during around 400-450w. Would prefer a cheap strong PSU though. I havnt checked anywhere myself yet since ive been on phone all day, just wanted some suggestions, If you think its ok to look in 400-450w range i might do that too. Thanks for suggestions and keep em coming!

if the one i said at pcworld will work and they have it, get it ! any cheaper then that and value for money is going to drop, i have a 700 alaph cool or something corny in my sisters pc and thats fine, but cheap gray power units are a dice roll between been ok, dieing, or killing the pc
