Why would I be crashing from web browsing, Prime95 and IBT pass

I have done 8 hr prime95 blend, no errors
35 IBT test at Max (3gb) memory, no errors

1.34 vcore idling, under load 1.40vcore @ 3.8ghz 1055t
(Loadline increases voltage significantly) Max temps are 57*C, (socket) but only for a few seconds then it decreases to 54-55*
Running a push/pull hyper 212+

I don't get it. I know BSOD is usually memory, and complete freeze is usually PC....what should I do?
Thats why a lot of people go for 12 hours+ on prime95.

Ive had Northbridge (NB) related crashes at 10 hours+ on prime

Could be NB instability I think, maybe memory. whats all your settings?

fill in your system info and a couple of screenshots showing RAM timings NB frequency clock speed voltages etc.

7-7-7-24-24 mushkin value ram @ 1.52v 1070mhz (from 1333)

Whats the voltage max on the RAM and stock RAM timings?

Also does dropping HT multiplier x1 drop your HT link closer to 2000Mhz?
keep HT voltage auto

Stock ram is 9-9-9-27-30 @ 1.5v

Dropping HT runs at like 189xmhz I think.

Wouldn't prime fail within 8 hours at high temps, rather than me surfing the web crash my PC?

Should I just up the timings back to 8-8-8-24? At this point testing further is pointless since it can pass synthetic tests.

change the HT as 1890 is closer to 2000 than 2130, not that Im saying its the culprit.

Up you NB multiplier x1
up you NB voltage slightly try to keep it around below 1.2

Arent you overvolting your RAM also?

Yeah by 0.02v, just to maintain stability for the lowered timings. I am thinking I should go back to 8-8-8-24 and maybe up to 1.55v

Not if the overclock is unstable I know it seems wierd.

Have you had it stable on a lower overclock with the timings you are currently on ( 7-7-7-24-24)

I went straight to 3.8ghz from 3.5ghz and the RAM originally was auto set in bios as 6-6-6-18, which I found to be the culprit of alot of BSOD's.

If I could adjust the LL voltage change I would be very happy. As it stands now, I would like 1.36v idle and 1.40v load, for stability, but it seems if I up the voltage for idle or low proc usage to 1.35-1.36v, itll shoot up to 1.42v under heavy load and that is too much heat for me.

On the contrary, running without LL is pointless, because my PC is going to be under light load 95% of the time, and having 1.45v going through it under idle is pointless when I could have 1.35v going through it.

1.42v is nothing-it is your heatsink that is limiting you.If you want to overclock a 6 core-you need a better cooler.
