1156 i7 to 1555 i5?

Thread Starter
hey guys. im thinking of selling my current cpu/motherboard in order to pay for a i5 2500k and ga p67 ud4.

i dont really make much use of my i7's hyperthread so this does seem logical.

what do you guys think?

edit: both the i5 and the new board will be $414.98 shipped

Man you got the Itch... I missed SB by a week so my new build is too new to shift over.

If your selling your current kit to fund it I say why not !

Should net you some real benefits if you overclock it. What do you do mainly on your rig?

If you use your computer mainly for gaming, don't do it. Honestly, your just caught up in all the hype.

Like ^^^^ said, it kind of depends on what you use your computer for.
