AP 15 in push/pull with shrouds? Which Rad for best performance?

so i have a few AP 15's which i hear are very good fans. now looking for a couple 480 rads to optimize cooling performance. will be cooling my sig system. am getting a little devil case in soon and bottom compartment will will hold a 480 rad with push pull ap15's plus shrouds.

top 480 rad will only be push with shrouds. will be cooling 980x, r3e full board block, and 3 gtx 580's.

all one loop.

Thanks for the help.

nice system you got there.
a good branded (xspc, black ice etc) would be good i believe. because its such a big rad, i dont believe it will make much difference in temps so i would go for the one that looks good or the one with better or more features. as i have not done water cooling before, i cant really recommend you one.
but why not go for a 360+120? after the CPU, make it go to 120 and then GPU's? therefore i believe you will get better temps for GPU too?
this is just my way of thinking and may not be necesserally true.

no, ive read loop order dosent matter as long as you have enough rad to cool your components. what ive read anyway.

The XSPC RX480 for those fans

Awesome System btw ^^

Wow...those little devil cases look pretty dope.

I think with the space on the bottom you can easily fit an RX480 with tons of room to spare. Combine the RX480 with the AP-15s running at full 1850rpm...you will be surprised how quiet it is!

Since you will have two 480s I think you can get away with undervolting the fans (to get them even more quieter) and still get very good performance!

BTW, OT, I see you are running Corsair GT 2000 on your R3E. I was contemplating getting them as well. But could you tell me how fast you have been able to get it (stable) and if you think it's worth the extra $$$....if not just for the pure looks The red GT fans are pure secks!

ive been able to get them running at their full speed. didnt do any benchmarks on them because i only left my system together like a week or so. will set it back up by the end of the week but im traveling saturday and be gone for a month. hopefully my system wont be old by the time im back.

XSPC RX Rads are great since they don't need high fans speeds to get optimal cooling. It will be great with the GT's

Good luck and grats on the LD case, I drool over those...

The XSPC RX series outperforms the SR-1 at every fan speed except 600 RPM, and the Feser radiator is actually discontinued. The Feser radiator is actually about 7% better at those fan speeds, but it was significantly more expensive and now very hard to find due to it's discontinued status.

You might want to take a look at the Thermochill TA series as well, they perform better than the RX series radiators with mid speed fans like the 1850 RPM gentle typhoon.

performance pcs still has them. so at 1850rpm the feser is the best performer?
