Printer Suggestions

Thread Starter
My mom is in need of a new printer and she asked me to do some research for her. Shes willing to spend anywhere from $200-300 dollars. She needs it for regular old printing on 11'' x 8.5'' as well as 12'' x 12''. Shes into photography so she also needs it to be able to print high quality photos she takes. I have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever on photography or printers but I know that alot of you enjoy photography so maybe you can give me some insight on what you use/what printer/s would be the best fit for my mom. Thanks.

Kodak ESP range (YES - their first-gen had SERIOUS issues... these issues are long-since-resolved)

You can top ALL of the inks up for £20
It prints almost bone-dry
Cheapest running costs on the planet
9600DPI print resolution
Fairly quiet
Print-head (which obviously dictates print-quality) is gauranteed for the life-of the printer
Uses a clear-ink thta lays down onto whitespace to give a truly photo-representation.

V.Nice.

the picture quailty of each print is just unreall is soooo crispp

it has a built in usb/mem card reader so u can just print strait off the camara without booting up a comp (i know tht common nowaday but still cool)

has one of the best scanners in the world pics up on everylast detail and transfers them to the printer or copys them out multiple time like its the original

it has 6 ink catriages (soz about spelling long day)

wich i know sounds a llot but trust me they are cheap as F**k to replace and easy to put in/remove

but because u have 6 diffrent colours it gives a much nice finish

but most of all the drivers are perfect

and its soooo easy to make a perfect image even i can do it
