ODIN Pro Silver 1200W features an entirely new circuit design to achieve the 80 Plus Silver certification and fulfill the needs of hardcore gamers and overclockers whose main requirements are performance and efficiency. The sleeved modular cables allow a much tidier build while the 6 +12 rails supply a higher power output. ODIN Pro Silver 1200W is made to last a long life with Japan made capacitors: primary of Japan capacitor and secondary of Japan solid capacitor.

The OEM for these units is AcBel Polytech.

They are based on the Power R9 platform used in the Cooler Master UCP Series of PSU's.

You can read a review of the UCP 900. It's a solid performing design. Gigabyte's version only offers an LED Fan and Modular Cables.

Gigabyte has used AcBel Polytech (Odin Plus, Superb, GreenMax), FSP (Odin, PowerRock, Whitebox, Superb) & Channel Well Tech(Odin Pro, Odin GT, PowerRock) as OEM's for PSUs.

This platform definitely should be good in the 1200w category. It will most likely hold efficiency, though I would expect to see 12v ripple raise to the 55-60mv range.
Which is still half of spec and really good.
5v & 3.3v shouldn't go past 30mv

Voltage Regulation should stay about the same though.
