Just Cause 2 huge FPS dop

Thread Starter
My just cause 2 is always acting like this, which everything on max, i sometimes get fps drop and back to normal, it feels like the game slow down for a second and back to normal.

i was wondering if there are any options that cause this effect, my system can with no doubt be able to max this game, so its probably not a hardware problem, and my drivers are the latest.

Thanks

I dont think Eidos has released a patch for it yet. Its a very common problem with this game. To get a little better framerate try the following ----->
GPU Water Simulation, bokeh filter, SSAO -- OFF
keep high res shadow on but set shadow quality a lil lower than highest.

Actually they have patched this game dude.. has to be your drivers.

I have played this game to the max before and NEVER had problems.

Theories?

I usually also disable motion blur cuz it's annoying but everything at max. Run a benchmark and you can see what is the best fps for ya.
