I really like that mouse but from what I understand, it is for a palm grip and I seem to use more of a claw/fingertip grip. They make the Kova which is also awesome but from what I understand it doesn't come with software. That and the fact that I live in the US and it is harder get a hold of Roccat products.

I have a DPI adjuster behind my Gigabyte Ghost M800X. I normally just stay on 6000DPI but in some games the scopes are really sensitive so I can drop it down to half speed and use that.

Shame that the RAT7 isn't good for gaming, I was thinking of picking one up.
That is exactly what it does, I wanted to be able to use that while aiming down my scope with a sniper rifle.

Well I was having the same dilemma as you. I was down to those two choices too. I am a palm gripper so the R.A.T. was out for me (although it's not an anti-palm gripper like most Razer stuff).

I did find a way you can use one button to "toggle" up and down dpi instead of just separate buttons to fumble with. It's the closest thing I've found short of the "easy aim" button which after thinking about it, I honestly didn't want physically on the mouse because I figured holding the button with your thumb would interfere with aiming/firing. I haven't really looked for solutions for anything except Logitech products though, but I'm sure there are similar ways.

read the last post in my thread here http://www.overclock.net/keyboards/8...mouse-dpi.html

I'm still on my quest to make it possible to do on a keyboard.
