Wierd sound from the computer since upgrade.

This Christmas I got my mobo+ram and proc to finish my upgrade for now and I'm running into a extremely stressing problem since. there is a variable whining sound coming out of the tower in the part of the bottom. I can't really tell where since my GPU is close to my PSU and they are the 2 only things that could make the sound.

In Windows it's not that bad, when scrolling down webpages it jump a bit higher until it stop scrolling. In games, it's almost a torture. Depending on the game/settings/direction that I face the sound get higher/lower. In BFBC2 it's moderate at any settings and a pain in the menu while in Minecraft, interesting case, is moderate when the render distance is at the max and very high when short.

At fist I thought it was the power supply as I plugged in my 300w and it stopped but seeing how it change I started considering my GPU as a probable cause. When I 1st brought my 9800 there was a similar sound that ceased after 2-3 days. So could it be the card or it's really the PSU?

Yea but... why did it happen like that after upgrading? If it would be temporary I could live with it but it's almost doing a whole month and it haven't changed. And this darn thing is 4 months old, and was feeding a 300w system before so I hope it's not going to cost me around 40$ to RMA it .
