asus maximus IV extreme? - Page 4

I saw that they removed the ETA as well. Hopefully it's available soon. I'm starting to wonder what's going on with this board and its availability. Someone over at XS claims that they sold out again in 5 minutes. Truthfully, I don't think he/she knows what they're talking about. I have been on the M4E page for about 12-14 hours refreshing constantly and all that changed was the ETA disappearing. I really want this board but my patience is waning.

Bah, guess I will stick with this Intel board for now, really looking for this board. I heard from other retails that it will be mid-month (Feb.) when this is available.

Wow, that really sucks. If it's that long that means that I will have been sitting on my other SB parts for a month.

FYI for anyone interested. The M4E just showed up on TD and they're selling for $299.99. I can next day with them cheaper than just buying it from the Egg. If it shows up a bit later, oh well.

yeah, but if you look at the ship date, it says "normally ships in 7-21 days". called them up just now and they don't have it in stock but are expecting it in 8-9 days. good price, though.

I called as well. I was just trying to give a heads up to the community for those of use who didn't want to wait for the Egg to show some boards in stock.

Good heads up too. I've decided to order it and just wait. For me, it would end up being a little over $75 dollars cheaper. Worth the wait, imo.

I agree 100%. After ordering including Next Day shipping, it's still about $40 cheaper for me. I don't mind waiting a few days more for next day service and a cheaper overall total. Here's to hoping it's sooner rather than later as this is the last component I need for my build.

Yeah, same here.. everything but the mobo is all sitting in my 800D box. Good thing it's so big. Sucks using my android phone as my personal computer for the time being, though. Thanks Asus!

For the record, im still glad I returned my UD7. I could have exchanged it, but I want to try out the eufi bios. Also, this may sound stupid, but Asus is like the only board maker that supplies a nice io shield plate with foam instead of sharp metal.

Just a question, why dont you guys get this motherboard off from another site. Just a simple google shopping search gives availability of this motherboard on many sites.
