Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about with a circuit short. It's just like shorting any other circuit. You fix the short, and the component works again. Just make absolutely sure you dry everything completely. A hair dryer works great (don't get the hair dryer right down on top of the components, that might get too hot).

Hope everything works out okay

I spilled beer on my roommates motherboard while he had his system apart, we used some isopropyl alcohol on it, let it sit for about 12 hours and it worked again!

ear buds? ummm what?

I would say take things apart and use a hair dryer on it. that would most likely be your best bet.

No I'm using an aquacomputer coolant low conductivity rating so I'm hoping that helps. Obviously it's the salts and oils that dissolve in the coolant and distilled that will get you so hoping that not too much got in to the liquid in the 4 hours.

After your "low conductivity" coolant was circulating through your loop for a few hours it picked up metal ions off the blocks and became conductive-same as distilled would.

distilled water is better then coolants in all shapes and forms.. it gives less condusctivty, and better temps then any overpriced coolant crap. Make sure u use PT nuke or a silvercoil for anti-growth
