The only thing is that no one has explained what the correlation, if any, is of max VID and max Vcore.
The way I understood it is that Max VID just says here is a possible range of voltages that a motherboard needs to supply to the CPU if the CPU designates that it has that VID.
It does not mean that there ever will be a chip that requires (or can even deal with ) that level of voltage. It does not mean that voltage is safe.
I think that number has become an overclocking myth.
