The question about the two 8 pin connections is a good start..

ok, so with cpu llc control disabled and phases set to full on im having a huge vrise problem...set to 1.48 in bios, 1.5 idle, then 1.56 under load????? This is at 5ghz and prime95 stable (at least for a minute) but im afraid to bench at that voltage. Maybe a bios update is in order...the last one i installed was the one with a comodo fix.

For me to get 5 ghz with LLC disabled, I set my voltage to 1.43-1.44 in bios, After rise I get about 1.5-1.51 at load..

My 2500k is at 4.8 ghz 24/7, batch in my sig. How high you can clock depends purely on the CPU, the motherboard will clock up to 5.5 ghz fine if your chip can do 5.5.

My 1st post in this forum.

I've spent whole day configuring the system.
I finally reach 5GHz and passed Intel Burn test.

My system:
2600K
TP67XE
RAM: 2x2GB OCZ3P2133C9LV4GK @ 2133

SeaSonic M12D SS-850 850W (Silver) - with 2 8pin power
Xigmatek Dark Knight cooler
HIS 6950 2GB (unlocked to 6970 and overclock a bit)
500GB 7200RPM

3dmark 11 hit around 5480.

I had to bump vcore to about 1.44, a bit over 1.5 when stress test.
However, this is too much heat core 1 & 2 are over 90C.
I guess I'll have to back down to around 4.8 Ghz @ 1.36V for daily use to get around 80C full load.

I'm using a different comp for this post to get the config.
Will post a screenshot after this.

this may sound stopid but what does load line do. what i notice is less vdrop. any ideas? i like that way it work i dont need to have high voltage on idle

If you disable LoadLine on this motherboard you will have low(er) idle volts that raise by 0.05v at load. For example with Loadline Disabled (whic actually ENABLES Loadline on this board) I get 1.296v idle, 1.344-1.356v load on the core. I agree no need to have high volts at Idle =D
