i havent really seen any tp67xe's doing 5ghz at 1.4v-1.45v (2600k w/ HT)

could be just luck/coincidence though

Seems like it, but so few people have this board compared to ASUS that people with ASUS mobos have a better chance of getting good CPUs due to their sheer numbers

i dont know about your chip but i did a little experiment not to long ago. I ran some test while my room was very cold, ambient around 2c. I was able to hit 4.9GHz stable for over an hour with offset set to 0. when i return my room to the usual 20c i had to bump the voltage up to +0.03. not sure if this makes sense but that is what happened. has anyone else notices something like this? If this holds true then I could get even higher with my oc with a good WC loop. Maybe I finally lucked out and got a chip that does suck at overclocking. My last chip a C2D E6600 from a batch that could hit 3.6GHz with its eyes closed only ever gave me 3.2GHz and I would have to go to 1.7vcore to hit 3.4GHz. WOW luck has changed!

Also I dont really worry about temps while stress testing, I use them as a guide but from what i have noticed, even while playing crysis or metro or even batman and just cause the temperature is also 15-20 degrees lower than when stress testing. i idle at 30c and usually never go past 48c. when i run prime 95 i hit 70c. But i know my AS5 is no good. my nephew told be he reseated the cooler, unfortunately he also told me he put the AS5 in the center then he pressed down on it with the cooler and them removed it to check if it spread. That thing must have air bubbles to wazoo. I need to get some time to fix it, crazy thing is even though it does have a bad seal my temps are great.

I think you can still buy them in europe... Supplies are pretty dry in the US...

http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/...n.php?S_ID=527 the web site is up for the new models...

I would love to have one... they will I'm sure replace the motherboard with brand new or refund if you can get one.

I'm currently sitting at 4.8ghz with 1.47v. 4.9ghz is possible with 1.5+ stable, but the temperatures hit tjunction.

This is using a 2600k, NH-D12, and TP67XE.
what settings you using? 1.47 seems high even for a 2600k

I think its nice biostar was the 1st manufacturer to say you could deal with the retailer or them. and they already said they would cross ship.. which newegg won't do.
