The only BIOS I've been able to pass 1hr blend is 126, but I'm forced to used 1T and run 9-10-9-27 (at least it's at 1866).

They need to fix three big things in 126 and I'll be a happy camper:

Command Rate bug
Allow lower BCLK
Allow lower CPU PLL
(all the way down to 1.5)
I've sent multiple emails to them with no reply. It's very possible it has to do with my cpu instead of mobo/bios.

In my opinion 1t is significantly better than 2t timings. Maybe not enough to make up for the difference between 1866 and 2133, but its closer than you think.

Anyone try the chipset driver on the Biostar website? Seems it takes a tad longer to boot now, after installing it

I don't use any drivers from Biostar. I just went on intel site and got them. My motherboard started acting up a few days ago. for some reason my voltage for memory was lower than I set and the multi was also lower. It was running 1333 , i fixed it by setting everything manually, but it was a pain. This motherboard is great but the bios need an update bad. Im using 121 because 126 wont let me hit anything over 4.2 ghz.

Amen.

I'm using 126 right now. Almost stable, but forced to run mem at 1T. 2x4GB hard enough to get stable.

Weirdest thing happened today, I set my BCLK to one notch past 10000 (10010 I think it is), anyway, all of a sudden, CPU-Z says my BCLK is 100.0 !

dont you have the option to manually set it? in 121 i do but i never tried it. also what mem you have? i have 0 stability issues with mine. voltage is off in bios tho i have to 5.5 to get 5.3ish if i set 5.0 i get 4.6 and then my system crashes.

Yep, BIOS 126 has a flat out bug for me. When using two sticks and placing them in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4, it doesn't matter what I set in BIOS for command rate, CPU-Z shows 1T. On VDIMM, yes, I have mine set at 1.55 to get 1.524 reading.

I can run blend for 1hr, but every time I run linX with a setting of 5GB or more, it fails after the first pass.

Hey guys. Don't come around here much, but I'm a mod over at TPU. I've been running this board with a 2600K for about 3 weeks, and before it a 2500K. Just thought I'd drop in since I've been following this thread. I've been talking to a Biostar USA rep over the last couple of weeks. I'm being told that they should have replacements available on 3/11, if all goes as planned. I'll hopefully have some confirmation of this by Monday. Much earlier than most of us thought.

I'm really liking this board. I have noticed one odd thing when I'm testing for stability on higher clocks. I can do a a 25 pass linX or Intel burn in, and I'll pass...but then the system will BSOD like 10 to 15 minutes after the test have completed successfully. I've owned dozens of boards, and I've never seen that before. Weird.

I hav had similar experience, for some reason on full load nothing bad happens to the system, stable as a rock but on lower load situations the board doesnt push the voltage. I have yet to find a cause. The highest speed i can get without that problem is 4.3 GHz and that is because my vcore in only ~1.1 load. I have also looked into cooling everything a little better but I doubt it will help much. I have been thinking of placing a better cooler on the chipset but i dont think that will solve anything either. And I am still trying to find out why when my chip is colder it needs less voltage for stability which in turn lowers the temperatures even more. I need to get me some really advanced cooling system to properly test this. I curently idle at 32 c but i did a BAD job on my thermal paste
