Never said that. The link mentioned that said 1.38 as the max voltage had no refferences other than this statement "Right guys myself and our technical guys have spent the entire weekend and this morning in discussions with Intel regarding the alarming amount of reports of Sandybridge CPU's dying and have been conducting our own testing as have Intel to find out what is a definite no no."
Where is this alarming ammount of reports of Sandybridge CPU's dying? Not on OCN. Not in the 5Ghz stable club. In fact I have yet to hear of any chips dying, and I read up on Sandybridge quite often as that is likely my next purchase decision.
